Strategic Companionship
I support visionary change makers, and organisations, to get clear on their social impact goals and understand the components needed to reach them, whilst working in ways that embed care, the body and trauma informed principles. In other industries, this type of support may be referred to as coaching, consultancy or thought partnership.
Strategic Companionship is tailored to your needs and available across my realms of expertise including: embodied ethics, harm reduction, socially engaged art making and how to implement care practices within events, the workplace or educational design.
For optimal results, I recommend working with me for at least three sessions.
Price:
€100 / €150 / €200+ per hour depending on your financial means or business turn over.
* A limited number of sliding scale rates are available with priority given to Black, Indigenous, Trans and Disabled led organisations or people.
Grief Tending
I facilitate grief tending spaces to explore the benefits of being with grief in community to build trust, reduce isolation and get clear on what we care about so we can move towards that together. This work is rooted in the approach outlined in my debut book, Tending Grief: Embodied Rituals for Holding Our Sorrow and Growing Cultures of Care in Community.
Grief Tending offerings:
- Sharing Circle
→ This session includes context about grief tending, embodied practices, an opportunity to participate in a grief sharing circle and an integration practice to close. This session is ideal for people who like to process emotions by talking with people and learning from the lived experience of others. - Deep Listening
→ This session includes context about grief tending, embodied practices, a partner sharing exercise followed by an opportunity to rest, stretch or grieve to ambient music, with the intention to resource the nervous system. This session is ideal for people who like to process emotions by listening to music and would like a grief session with a smaller amount of verbal processing.
- Dance your Grief
→ This session includes context about grief tending, embodied practices, an opportunity to dance for 30 mins as a means to process grief and an integration practice to close. This session is ideal for people who like to process emotions by dancing or moving the body.

DJ Sets & Sound Curation
As AfroOankali, I play a hypnotic blend of low end frequencies and polyrhythms that celebrates the Afro-Caribbean influence in electronic music. My sets are genre fluid blending Dancehall, Baile Funk, Jungle and other bass heavy sounds from the diaspora.
Pricing starts at €200 for a 1 hour set.
